My son, age 7, has written for my blog before. He wrote a great post, Six Things That Make Mom Happy - click here to read what he had to say. When he gets an itch to play with my computer, he asks if he can write for the blog. I told him to write about ways to be a good brother or sister and this blog post was created. I actually enjoy what he shares and hope you do too.
Here you go, conceived and typed by my son, "Six Ways To Be A Good Big Brother or Sister".
- Do not scream when the baby is sleeping.
- Teach them to only go outside if your Mom says you can.
- Do not be loud when getting ready for bed at night.
- Help them put on shoes when Mom is in a rush.
- Play games with your sister or brother.
- Do not fight with them.
I love that your son writes his own little posts! He is such a good writer! I think he has some pretty solid points, also! Great post!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! And true! I'm curious to know what my almost five year sob and 3 1/2 year old son would say...

That is so adorable! He did a great job! My teenage daughter has asked me if she can write for my blog...I do have one guest post up from her about traveling on an airplane by herself.
ReplyDeleteGreat advice! I have a 4 week old and 4 year old. The 4 y/o loves his little brother and constantly wants to be near him, but we've had to set some ground rule in order to teach him the importance of personal space. As they both get older, I am sure we will be adopting some of your rules as well. Thanks for sharing.
